Mike is a healthcare executive and strategic operator with more than 25 years of experience spanning Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, value-based care, healthcare operations, and growth strategy. As President of Home Delivered Meals, Mike is focused on expanding access to medically tailored meals and integrating nutrition-based interventions into broader healthcare and community support models. His work centers on building partnerships with health plans, provider organizations, government programs, and community stakeholders to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations while creating scalable, sustainable growth.

Previously, Mike held executive leadership roles with Humana and Village Medical, where he led large-scale operations, payer strategy, and value-based healthcare initiatives across multiple markets. During his time at Humana, he held full P&L responsibility for a multi-state Medicare Advantage business serving over 500,000 members. His experience includes healthcare finance, operational transformation, market expansion, payer-provider partnerships, and population health strategy.

Mike brings a systems-oriented approach to Food as Medicine, with a focus on connecting clinical care, operations, data, and community-based services into practical solutions that improve quality, independence, and long-term health outcomes. He is particularly passionate about advancing medically tailored meals, supporting aging in place, and creating innovative partnerships that align nutrition with healthcare delivery.

Mike earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School of Business.
