Our advantage is frozen fresh
Our frozen fresh meals ensure the nutrient content and the integrity of the food is maintained. Our frozen fresh meals have more vitamins and minerals compared to fresh delivered, which lose vitamins and minerals over time. Quick freezing locks in both flavor and nutrients. A study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics found that people who regularly ate frozen meals had a better impact on their health from eating higher daily intakes of important nutrients such as protein, fiber, and potassium and lower saturated fat.

As part of Metz Culinary Management, Chef2Home knows how to combine great taste; healthy, delicious cuisine; and unsurpassed food safety into wonderful meals that you will simply love.
Metz was founded in 1994 to meet the dining needs of hospitals, long-term care facilities, colleges and universities, K-12 public and private schools, and corporate clients. In 1996, we expanded into frozen, hot, and shelf-stable meals for the senior community through home delivery and congregate settings, and we recently began serving Medicare Advantage and Medicaid long-term care clients. Last year we provided over 15 million healthcare and senior meals to hospital inpatients, long-term care facilities, and Area Agencies on Aging, both in congregate settings and delivered to the home.

Diabetes Friendly
The Diabetes Friendly diet is designed by our registered dietitians to provide a balance of carbohydrates and protein to help optimize blood sugar management.

Low Sodium
The Low Sodium diet follows the American Heart Association guidelines for sodium, total fat, and saturated fat to aid in heart disease management.

Heart Healthy
Our Heart Healthy diet follows the American Heart Association guidelines by providing the appropriate amount of sodium, total fat and saturated fat to impact overall heart health and blood pressure.

Renal Friendly
Maintaining adequate nutrition with kidney disease can be difficult. Our Renal Friendly diet is designed by registered dietitians with guidelines established by the National Kidney Association® to provide appropriate sodium, phosphorus, and potassium levels to help maintain health and kidney disease management.

- Fewer than 600mg of potassium
- Fewer than 400mg of phosphorous

Vegetarian
Our Vegetarian diet takes the lacto-ovo vegetarian approach by excluding beef, pork, poultry and fish, but still includes essential vitamins and minerals from dairy, eggs, beans, plant-based proteins, and nuts.

Puree
Pureed meals are served at the appropriately modified consistency for those with swallowing difficulty, or dysphagia. Pureed meals are provided in the correct consistency and formed to provide appetizing meals to maximize consumption and nutrition.
